The City of Fairfield is looking for dependable, honest, energetic and motivated individuals to fill key positions within the City. Applicants may be required to demonstrate the ability to work in all weather conditions and extremes, able to lift and carry 50 pounds, pass a background check and drug screen, and have a valid Texas Drivers license. 

The following positions are Vacant:

Dump Laborer (1): This is a part-time position, working on Mondays, some Fridays, and Saturdays at the City Dump. Applicants must physically be able to get in and out of a work truck multiple times a day.

Police Officers (2):  Under the direction of the Chief, the police officer is responsible for the enforcement of federal, state and municipal ordinances within the City of Fairfield. Applicants must have a Texas Peace Officer License issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.

Salaries for the positions are commensurate with qualifications and experience. These positions will remain open until filled.
