Sales Tax for 2020 increase

Despite the pandemic and the economy, the City of Fairfield saw a rise in sales tax for 2020. In 2020, the city collected $1,797,501.96, a 1.7 percent increase from the previous year, in the middle of this pandemic. For eight months of 2020, sales tax receipts increased over the previous year.
